Keeffe Third in Sprint Skate at U.S. Cross Country Championships

CRAFTSBURY, Vt. – Freshman Utah skier Noel Keeffe finished third in the skate sprint at the U.S. Cross Country Championships on Tuesday in the final race of the championships.
Keeffe had the second-fastest qualifying time and finished third in his quarterfinal and semifinal heats, advancing on time. It was a race to the finish for third in the final race.
Keeffe was named to Team USA for the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships, held in Lahti, Finland, Jan. 20-26.
The Utes open the 2019 collegiate season on Wednesday, Jan. 9, in Colorado.
