Opening Statement...
"That was a great college football game. I think everyone got their money's worth. I'm proud of our guys. We didn't start the game off well at all. We were a little sluggish early on and it took us some time to control the line of scrimmage. But we got control of the line and then started making plays on defense. The pick six was huge. We didn't run the ball as well as we usually do, but that's a great defense out there were going against. Two turnovers in the same half really hurt us and our momentum, but we regained it and we won the turnover battle. It was really a gut check for our guys. We never quit and we found a way to win."
On Tyler Huntley's performance...
"He's one of the elite quarterbacks in the country and I stand by that. And when our guys are making great catches and plays for him, it all looks great. And on top of that, he's still not even one hundred percent. He's a great quarterback for us."
On the adjustments the offensive line made...
"We shuffled the deck a little bit, when some of our guys get hurt, we have another guy ready to go. We had some guys who have been practicing all week ready to step in and play physically. We can go one guy in and one guy out, and stay effective the rest of the way."
On the plays made on defense...
"Yes, we have a good enough defense that we know even though we had a slow start, we settled in and we started making plays. I was proud of our players and our defense, playing a hybrid 3 safety defense. Their number one jersey tight end is a dangerous receiver, so great job by our defense to adapt and find a way to deal with him."
#1 Tyler Huntley, QB On how they turned it around in the second half...
"We did what we had to do. We knew we were slacking in the first half, the defense kept us in the game. We just started doing what we had to do. In order to win football games, you have to be able to convert on third downs."
On where this win ranks...
"I'm going to have to say number one, I have never beat them."
#1 Jaylon Johnson, CB On his interception return for a touchdown...
"I just watched film all week, more than I have for any other game and just coming into it, I knew the way they align and Eason's tendencies throwing the out route so I just took a chance on it and made the play. It was a huge momentum changer. I mean, this is a big game and it was a big play of the game. There was no way I was letting that ball out of my hands."
On the impact this win makes...
"This shows what kind of team we have, we can apply pressure with our backs against the ropes. We knew that and once we got the lead, it was going to be us. We just had to keep together as a team and that is what we did."
#2 Zack Moss, RB On what was clicking on offense...
"We just locked in more, it was an early game, we didn't come out groggy but we didn't get off to a great start. This is a very hostile environment, and no matter what their record is, they are still the reigning Pac-12 Champions so guys just focused and locked in. We got more physical as the game went on."
