"I think we just have to go back to effort," Utah head coach
Brian Holman said. "I didn't think there was a time when our guys didn't try hard. That is a positive and that is always going to be a staple of our program, but we have to grow from that. As Coach Tierney said, 'I love the way you guys play, you play hard,' but we have to clean some stuff up. That's the good part. They're a top team. I did think our guys were a little intimidated, and I was hoping that wouldn't be the case, but this is a process, it's all about learning, it's all about trying to figure out ways to get a little better every day. I think we did because we stepped into the lions den and we sort of figured it out after awhile but it was like deer in the headlights early on."
Utah has a quick turnaround, traveling south to Colorado Springs to face Air Force on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. MT. Video is not available due to the game being moved indoors.
