"Today was a great day," head alpine coach
JJ Johnson said. "They felt some pressure today to win regionals after winning the UAA meet yesterday and they were unbelievable handling that. We were a little surprised and tentative on the snow on a different hill than yesterday during the first run, but the way we bounced back during the second run is what made them champions. They came out with full on intensity during the second run and every one of them finished and moved up. I couldn't be more proud of this group."
