SALT LAKE CITY – Head alpine coach
JJ Johnson of the Utah Ski Team announced today the additions of Pierick Charest and Christina Jacobsen ahead of the 2026 racing season. The pair join a program that combined for seven alpine all-America awards at last year's NCAA Championships—tying for the most of any team in the country.
Charest, who comes to Utah from Blainville, Québec, raced for his home province before moving up to the Canadian National Development Team in 2025. Jacobsen, a native of Bergen, Norway, competed with Troender Alpin.
