"This is an incredibly difficult golf course!" head coach
Garrett Clegg said. "Kyler didn't have his best today and it seemed like each missed shot penalized him more than just one shot. It was a tough day. But what he is doing is incredible! I'm so proud of how he has played this week. He will be the first Ute in the modern era to make the cut at the NCAA Championships. He has had a tremendous career for us and tomorrow will be his final round. I'm really excited to be able to walk that final round with him tomorrow at the NCAA Championship individual finals! What a great place to be. Hopefully tomorrow will be a great round of golf!"
Dunkle qualified for the fourth round by being one of the top nine golfers who didn't qualify as part of a team.
Play continues at the Blessings Golf Club on Monday with Dunkle teeing off at 12:17 CT. Follow at
