SALT LAKE CITY, Utah—The Utah football program has scheduled a future home-and-home football series with Southeastern Conference member Florida for the 2022 and '23 seasons, the schools jointly announced today.
The series will begin in Gainesville in 2022 and the Gators will play the Utes in Salt Lake City in 2023.
"A series with the University of Florida is an exciting opportunity for our student-athletes, coaches and fans and we are thrilled to schedule another prominent opponent," said Utah Director of Athletics
Mark Harlan.
Utah and Florida have met just once in football, Nov. 19, 1977 in Gainesville, when the Gators defeated the Utes 38-29.
With this series in place, the Utes' non-conference schedules are complete through the 2024 season, and at least two of the three non-conference slots are filled for each season from 2025-28. To see all future games scheduled,

Specific dates, kickoff times and broadcast plans for the games will be announced at a later date.
