PROVO, Utah - The first night of competition between Utah and BYU saw a pair of diving events, the men's 1m and the women's 3m.
Emma Ruchala was the runner-up in the 3m with a total score of 288.60 and Tony Chen was third in the 1m for the men (316.70).
Swimming competition begins at 11 a.m. tomorrow with the women's 1m and men's 3m also scheduled.
