Utah won its fourth consecutive game in the series with Colorado, and its 10th in the last 12 meetings, to even the all-time series at 32-32-3.

- For the second game in a row, the Utes were able to score on their first offensive drive, putting together a six-play, 60-yard drive to take a 7-0 lead against Colorado on a seven-yard passing TD.
- The Utes also scored on their game-opening drive against Oregon State, scoring a 33-yard field goal on the backend of a nine-play, 60-yard drive that took 4:39 off the clock.
