BOISE, Idaho – The No. 45 University of Utah women's tennis team hit the road for a match against Boise State Sunday afternoon and swept the Broncos 4-0 at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center. With this win, the Utes are now 10-3 overall on the season.

Ric Mortera. "To win a tough match on Friday, immediately get on the road and get another win today against a gritty team was great for us. We are looking forward to another great week of practice as we prepare for another great opportunity next weekend when we start Pac-12 play."

Continuing to dominate doubles play, the Utes cruised past Boise State's doubles and gained the 1-0 lead. Â The No. 16-ranked duo of
Madison Tattini and
Whitney Hekking recorded a quick victory on the top doubles court over Lilian Poling and Holly Stewart with a score of 6-3.
Anya Lamoreaux and
Lindsay Hung then sealed the doubles point for the Utes at the No. 3 spot, defeating Camryn Moortgat and Ana Conde Vendrell 6-1.

Hekking kept the momentum going in singles as she topped Vanessa Timm 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 3 position for the first singles win of the day.
Anya Lamoreaux was then able to put the Utes in winning position after claiming a 6-0, 6-3 win on the No. 6 court over Jovana Kujanin. To complete the sweep and end the match,
Emily Dush beat out Mae McCutcheon 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 4 position to give Utah the 4-0 win over Boise State.

Utah women's tennis will begin conference play next week and will head to the Pacific Northwest when they visit Washington and Washington State. Utah will take on Washington on Friday, March 6 at 2:30 p.m. MT in Seattle, while the match against Washington State will take place on Sunday, March 8 at 11 a.m. MT in Pullman, Wash.
