SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Nordic skiers
Luke Jager,
Sophia Laukli,
Novie McCabe, and
Sydney Palmer-Leger will all be representing Team USA in FIS World Cup competition over the next several weeks. The group begins their respective races in Ruka, Finland on Nov. 26-28, then continues in Lillehammer, Norway (Dec. 3-5) before wrapping up in Davos, Switzerland (Dec. 11-12).

Laukli will be making her sixth individual World Cup start,
Jager his second and the first each for both
McCabe and
Palmer-Leger.
Laukli's career on the world stage includes a trip to the 2021 World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany, which saw her race in three events, placing 23
rd in the 10 km Freestyle.
Jager makes his second start after qualifying for the World Cup Sprint in Falun, Sweden in January 2021.
Utah, the defending NCAA national champion, begins the 2022 Nordic schedule hosting the Utah Invitational at Soldier Hollow on Jan. 2 and Jan. 6. The alpine slate begins Jan. 18 at the Montana State Invitational, and the season will culminate with the Utes hosting the NCAA Championships from March 9-12.
