SALT LAKE CITY – Head alpine coach
JJ Johnson announced that the Utah Ski Team has signed Ola Polmar for the 2027 campaign, bolstering a squad that is coming off its second straight NCAA Championship and six of the last seven national titles.
Polmar is a native of Oslo, Norway, and raced with Heming IL before coming to Utah. He has three victories and 15 podium results in FIS competitions.
For his birth year of 2006, Polmar currently ranks third in the world in slalom, fourth in giant slalom and sixth in super G. His 2026 season included two starts representing Norway in the European Cup. Polmar was the giant slalom silver medalist at the Danish national championships, along with finishing top-five in super G.
