Single-Game Football Tickets On Sale, 2022 Game Promotions Announced

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Football is 19 days away from its 2022 season opener with single-game tickets officially going on sale today.
Fans looking to see the Utes in action this season can purchase single-game tickets at www.UtahTickets.com. A limited amount of reserved tickets still remain while only standing room tickets are available for Utah's game vs. USC on Oct. 15.
With a full 12-game regular season slate this season, highlighted by six home games, the reigning Pac-12 Champions are ready to hit the gridiron for what will be another special year.
The Utes, who rank No. 8 in the preseason Coaches Poll, return 60 letter winners to the field this season, including 17 starters and nine all-conference performers from 2021. Head coach Kyle Whittingham is entering his 18th season as the all-time wins leader at Utah, holding a record of 144-70.
Even though the season opener is less than 20 days away, the Utes are set to open their home schedule on Sept. 10. Utah has sold out 70 consecutive games in Rice-Eccles Stadium and is 106-36 all-time inside the historic venue, which includes four undefeated home seasons in the Whittingham era (2008, 2009, 2019, 2021).

Saturday, Sept. 10 vs. Southern Utah
Time: 11:30 a.m. MT TV: Pac-12 Networks Game Theme: Hall of Fame Series Record: Utah leads 1-0 overall | Utah leads 1-0 in SLC Last Utah Win in RES: In what was the program's first shutout since 2012, the Utes blanked Southern Utah on Sept. 1, 2016, 24-0. Quarterback Troy Williams made his first-career start as a Ute, throwing for 272 yards (20-of-35) and two touchdowns, both going to Tim Patrick who finished with 105 yards on five catches. Current Seattle Seahawk Cody Barton led the team with 11 tackles while Marcus Williams forced a fumble in the first quarter and recorded an interception in the second.
Saturday, Sept. 17 vs. San Diego State
Time: 8 p.m. MT TV: ESPN2 Game Theme: Ute Proud Series Record: Utah leads 17-13-1 overall | Utah leads 9-6-0 in SLC Last Utah Win in RES: Utah earned its 17th consecutive home win against San Diego State on Nov. 21, 2009, beating the Aztecs 38-7. The win streak was the third-longest in the nation at the time with the Utes scoring all 38 of their points in the first half. Running back Eddie Wide rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns while freshman quarterback Jordan Wynn completed 14-of-28 passes for 198 yards and a touchdown.
Saturday, Oct. 1 vs. Oregon State
Time: TBD TV: TBD Game Theme: Homecoming Series Record: Oregon State leads 12-11-1 overall | Utah leads 6-5 in SLC Last Utah Win in RES: On a chilly night in an empty Rice-Eccles Stadium, Utah held on for a 30-24 victory over the Beavers on Dec. 2, 2020. Oregon State scored back-to-back touchdowns late in the game, only trailing by six with just five minutes to go, but a fourth down stop by freshman safety Nate Ritchie and a huge tackle for loss by Mika Tafua on their next drive to seal the win. Ty Jordan carried the ball 27 times for a career-high 167 yards, averaging 6.2 yards per carry, scoring his first career touchdown in the second quarter.
Saturday, Oct. 15 vs. USC
Time: TBD TV: TBD Game Theme: TBD Series Record: USC leads 13-7 overall | Utah leads 4-3 in SLC Last Utah Win in RES: For the third straight week in 2018, the Utes posted 40+ points on the way to their third Pac-12 win, beating the Trojans 41-28 on Oct. 20, 2018. Tyler Huntley led the way, recording a career-high 341 passing yards and four touchdowns (22-of-29), adding 33 rushing yards and a rushing score. Zack Moss had 136 rushing yards on 25 carries with Britain Covey racking up 79 yards and a touchdown on four catches. Chase Hansen had a team-best 11 tackles.
Saturday, Nov. 5 vs. Arizona
Time: TBD TV: TBD Game Theme: Muss Appreciation Series Record: Utah leads 25-19-2 overall | Utah leads 12-9 in SLC Last Utah Win in RES: Utah brought a well-balanced attack to Rice-Eccles Stadium on Oct. 12, 2018, defeating Arizona 42-10 after producing 265 yards through the air and 230 on the ground for 495 total yards on offense. Tyler Huntley was 14-of-19 passing for 201 yards and two touchdowns, also recording a receiving and rushing touchdown in the game. Chase Hansen and Maxs Tupai led the team in tackles, both finishing with nine.
Saturday, Nov. 12 vs. Stanford
Time: TBD TV: TBD Game Theme: Senior Day, Military Appreciation Series Record: Utah leads 6-4 overall | Stanford leads 3-1 in SLC Last Utah Win in RES: On Oct. 12, 2013, Utah orchestrated one of the biggest upsets at home in program history at the time, beating No. 5 Stanford, 27-21 after a goal-line stand to end the game. It was the first time in program history that the Utes had knocked off a top-five team in Rice-Eccles Stadium. Travis Wilson finished the game 23-of-34 for passing yards and two touchdowns while Bubba Poole recorded 111 rushing yards and 75 receiving yards.
