The Runnin' Utes (12-5, 5-1 Pac-12) finally settled in the final 3:32 minutes and closed out the half on a 12-5 run.
Marco Anthony opened the second stanza for Utah scoring Utah's first six points to keep the Utes within striking distance before
Lazar Stefanovic poured in seven-straight points to close the gap to 43-41. However, the Ducks (9-7, 3-2 Pac-12) pushed their lead back up to 56-44 with a run of their own.
The Runnin' Utes didn't back down and brought the UO lead back down to 56-51 left to go but the Ducks answered immediately out of the 4:39 media timeout and extended its lead back up to 63-51 to give itself some cushion over the Utes.
