THE GAME
The University of Utah Lacrosse team is back in Salt LAX City this week to open ASUN play, hosting the Bellarmine Knights on Saturday, March 18. The game, which will take place at Ute Field, will start at 7 p.m. MT as the Utes' Cancer Awareness game.
COMING TO UTE FIELD?
Fans coming to Ute Field for the game can enjoy several pregame activities, including the Official Utah Lacrosse Tailgate, starting at 5 p.m.
• The pregame tailgate with DJ Table will take place in the parking lot located directly above Ute Field between the Dumke Family Softball Stadium and the McCarthey Family Track.
• The plaza located inside Ute Field will feature free thundersticks, posters and trading cards.
• Fans can also enjoy free hot chocolate and a Salt LAX City photo op.
• Parking for the game is free on the Utah campus with lots available near the Eccles Broadcast Center.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
• Utah was picked first in the preseason ASUN Poll after winning the regular season title in 2022.
• Utah is only giving up 14.60 turnovers per game, which leads the ASUN and ranks 16th nationally.
• Utah ranks in the top-30 nationally and top three in the ASUN in assists per game (6.20).

LAST TIME OUT
The Utes took on their second-straight Top 20 opponent on March 4 when they traveled to No. 8 Rutgers. It was a battle till the end with a fourth quarter rally by the Utes, but they fell short with an 18-14 loss.

BRADBURY BRINGS IT ALL
Through five games, junior attackman
Tyler Bradbury leads the Utes in with 18 (8 goals, 10 assists) becoming the all-time career points leader at Utah with 119 (51 goals, 68 assists) over a span of 34 games (3.5 ppg).
• He passed former all-time points leader
Josh Stout, who had 105 points from 2019-22.
• He has scored at least one point in 21 straight games, dating back to the 2021 season, and has scored a point in 29 of his 34 career games.
• Bradbury is already the all-time record holder for career assists, sitting at 68.
• He also ranks third all-time in career goals with 51.
• This season, he ranks 20th nationally (out of 190 players) and third in the ASUN in assists per game (2.00).
• He has 22 career games with multiple assists, including in three games this season (3 at Denver, 4 vs. Marquette, 2 at Rutgers).
• Bradbury also has 17 career games with two-or-more goals, including in three games this season (2 vs. Marquette, 2 vs. Vermont, 3 at Rutgers).
• He set the school record for single-season points in 2022 (62), and with 18 through five games with nine remaining, he is on track to break the record again.
WHEN HYDE SHOOTS, HE SCORES
Junior attackman
Jordan Hyde has scored 70 goals through 30 career games, averaging 2.3 goals per game. He ranks second all-time in goals at Utah, needing five more to pass
Josh Stout (74 from 2019-22) and set a new school record.
• He leads the team in goals so far this season, finding the back of the net 10 times. He scored 40 goals in 2022, which ranked second all-time at Utah in single-season goals scored.
• Through five games in 2023, he has scored multiple goals in three, including hat tricks against Denver (2/4/23) and Vermont (2/18/23).
• He has 20 career games with multiple goals.
• He has scored in 11 straight games, dating back to Utah's game at Cleveland State on April 9, 2022.
• He currently ranks sixth in the ASUN and 36th (out of 198 ranked) nationally in shot percentage (.417).
• Hyde has yet to dip below 40-percent on his shots on goal percentage this season, including his season high of 80-percent against Denver (4 shots on goal, 3 goals).
STICKY STICK
Senior defenseman
Samuel Cambere is known for being a menace on defense, ranking first all-time in career caused turnovers (78) and second in ground balls (212).
• He has recorded at least one ground ball in all 51 games he has appeared in.
• Cambere holds the top-two single-season numbers for caused turnovers, setting the school record in 2022 (28) and 2019 (20).
• His season-high three caused turnovers against Marquette this year was the 22nd time in his career he has posted two-or-more CTOs in a game.
NEWCOMER IN THE NET
True freshman goalkeeper
Colin Lenskold earned the starting spot this season with the Utes currently being the only ASUN program with a starting freshman goalkeeper. Through five games, Lenskold has 67 saves with a 14.21 goals against average.
• Out of the 82 goalkeepers ranked in NCAA Division I men's lacrosse in saves per game, Lenskold ranks 15th, averaging 13.40.
• His 13.40 saves per game is also second among freshmen in the country.
• His breakout game of the year came against Vermont (2/18/23), stopping 20 shots, only allowing 14 goals.
• Lenskold also had 14 saves in Utah's game at Johns Hopkins (2/25/23), allowing just 12 goals.
• His 20 saves against the Catamounts was a school record for single-game saves and is the fourth-most in the NCAA this year.
• The 20 stops also ranks as the second-most by a freshman in the NCAA this season.
MCMAKIN IT HAPPEN
Junior attackman
MJ McMahon has been a consistent threat on offense for the Utes since he stepped foot on campus in 2020, recording 60 points on 39 goals and 21 assists.
• Through 36 career games, McMahon ranks fourth all-time in career points (60), also ranking fifth in goals (39) and is tied for fourth in assists (21).
• Ranks fourth in the ASUN and 46th (out of 188 ranked) in assists per game (1.60).
• He has scored two-or-more points in four of Utah's five games this season, including a season-high three against Marquette (2 goals, 1 assist), at Johns Hopkins (3 assists) and at Rutgers (3 assists).
• Prior to Utah's season opener against Denver (2/4/23), he had scored at least a point in 19 straight games (at Mercer, 4/27/21 – vs. Robert Morris, 5/7/22).
• He has scored at least a point in 30 of the 36 games he has appeared in.
STINES CLIMBS THE CHART
Redshirt freshman
Ryan Stines has scored 10 goals through five games in his first season on the field for the Utes, starting all five games as well.
• He is in pursuit of the freshman record for single-season goals, which sits at 20 (
Jordan Hyde, 2021).
• Stines has scored at least one goal in all five games this season, including a career-high four goals at Rutgers.
• His 10 goals this season leads all freshmen in the ASUN while his 2.00 goals per game ranks ninth among freshmen in the NCAA.
CAREER HIGH TRACKER
Through five games this season, several Utes have earned important career highs for their stat sheets.
• Junior
Jared Andreala scored a career-high four goals against Marquette on five shots on goal (.714), also recording a career-high five ground balls at Rutgers.
• Junior midfielder
Koa Todd notched has tied his career-high in goals (2) twice this season against Marquette and at Rutgers.
• Redshirt freshman
Ryan Stines scored a career-best four goals at Rutgers.

Joey Boylston tied his career-best in caused turnovers against Johns Hopkins, recording two.
• Sophomore defenseman
Colby Plotts scored a career-best two goals in the game vs. Marquette on just two shots on goal.
• Junior attackman
Tyler Bradbury secured a career-high tying four ground balls vs. Marquette.
