SALT LAKE CITY – Eighteen members of the Utah Ski Team were named All-RMISA on Thursday, as announced by the conference ahead of the 2023 NCAA Championships in Lake Placid, New York.
The Utes, winners of the RMISA Regular Season Team Championship and Regional Team Championship, will travel to Lake Placid this weekend and train out East before beginning the NCAA Championships on Wednesday, March 8. Utah is looking to bring home its 16
th national championship in program history and third straight completed NCAA crown (2019, '21, '22).
Headlining the haul of awards for Utah were 10 First Team All-RMISA picks. The pack includes alpine's
Madison Hoffman,
Michelle Kervén,
Wilhelm Normannseth,
Claire Timmermann and
Gustav Vøllo. Taking home First Team Nordic laurels were
Samuel Hendry,

- Five career individual wins, his last coming in freestyle at the 2023 Colorado Invitational

- Heads to Lake Placid from Nor-Am Cup competition, which included a pair of second-place slalom finishes for Hoffman on March 1 and 2

- Returned to competition in 2023 after her 2022 season was cut short due to injury just four starts in
- Three career wins, including a pair of slalom wins this season at the Westminster Invitational and Denver Invitational
- Also had three other runner-up results this season at the Westminster Invitational (slalom) and Colorado Invitational (twice in GS)

- Will be coming to Lake Placid for NCAAs after competing at the FIS Cross Country World Ski Championships in Slovenia, where Laukli posted a top-25 finish in 10K freestyle
- Also raced at the U23 World Ski Championships in February, placing fifth in 10K freestyle
- 2022 NCAA Individual Champion in women's 15K freestyle, and a First Team All-American in both freestyle and classic
