CRAFTSBURY, Vt. –
Sydney Palmer-Leger of the Utah Ski Team was crowned a U.S. National Champion on Sunday, racing to a first-place finish (2:32:35.3) in the 44K classic mass start race at Craftsbury Outdoor Center.
The event capped nearly a full week of Nordic competition out in Vermont as part of the SuperTour finals. It included a 10K classic race on Wednesday, skate sprint on Friday and club relay event on Saturday. It also secured the 2023 NNF Cup for the Utes; the Cup is presented to the top-performing club team during the SuperTour season and includes a $3,000 cash prize to the program. th) also raced for Utah on the women's side, while

th) placed in the men's 44K classic.
