The full indoor track season begins for Utah this weekend in Albuquerque at the MLK Invitational.

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah track & field team is set to begin its full indoor track schedule this weekend over in the Land of Enchantment for the MLK Invitational inside the ABQ Convention Center – which served as last year's indoor championships venue.

THE LINE UP
The Women of Utah will send 14 competitors to ABQ for the Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational this Saturday inside the ABQ Convention Center. Of the 14, Madi Durrant, Josefine Eriksen and Shana Van Elderen will be making their indoor season debut while Durrant will be making her collegiate debut.

Meanwhile, the Utes will also send a handful of distance runners up north to Ogden for the Weber State Indoor Invitational inside Stromberg Arena. Saturday's meet will begin at 10 a.m. (MT) and end at approximately 1:10 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah had a primer for the indoor season back in December at the BYU December Invite and saw three entries or updates in the all-time record books. Megan Rose saw herself move into third all-time in the 60m dash after running 7.55 (aa) while Harley Daniel tied with Kolbi Sims (2/21/20) for the second-fastest 60m hurdles time at Utah with a run of 8.58 (aa). Lastly, Utah's 4x400m relay team of Ally Gomm, Chloe Taylor, Daniel and Bailey Kealamakia posted the fifth-fastest mark with a run of 3:42.79 (aa).

UP NEXT
Utah will hit the road once again the following week as it makes the first of many trips to the PNW and Dempsey Indoor with the UW Invitational (Jan. 26-27) coming up first.
