TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Utah's swim and dive team finish its first dual meet this season against the University of Arizona Wildcats, earning mixed results after the men's team claims the victory, but the women fall by two points at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center in Tucson, Ariz. on Saturday morning.
Bringing in twenty-six medals on day two, the Utes successfully finished their first dual meet of the 2024-2025 season. Though the women's team fell short by two points, bringing in a total of 149 to the Wildcats' 151, the men's team were able to come out on top, 159.5 to Arizona's 140.5.
"What a great meet from both teams today, they all swam and dove really well. Unfortunately, the women fell short, but we should be pleased that we were so close," said head coach
Jonas Persson.

Richard Marschner.
