Utes in the Pros: Week 9

SALT LAKE CITY – It's the halfway point of the NFL regular season, and 28 Utah Football alumni are on rosters throughout the league with 18 expected to suit up in Week 9.
Several division leaders throughout the NFL have Pro Ute ties heading into Week 9. In the AFC East, Buffalo looks to extend its three-game winning streak as Cole Bishop, Dalton Kincaid and the rest of the Bills host Miami.
In the NFC, the duo of Tim Patrick and Sione Vaki have helped Detroit to a 6-1 record, the best in the NFC North. The Lions have a half-game lead on Green Bay and travel up to Lambeau Field this weekend. Down South, the Atlanta Falcons (5-3) are a game up on Tampa Bay for the division's top spot. In the NFC West, a three-way tie at the top includes San Francisco (Mitch Wishnowsky) and Seattle (Sataoa Laumea).

Two former Utes coaching in the NFL have also helped their respective clubs to division leads at the halfway point of the season. Brian Johnson is on the Washington staff as assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator; the Commanders lead the NFC East at 6-2.
