MOVING ON UP
Heading into this season
Gabe Madsen looks to insert himself into a couple more categories in the career record books at Utah. The Rochester, Minn., product is currently sixth all-time with 213 career made 3-pointers. The 6-6 guard is just 40 points shy of joining a select group of Runnin' Utes in the 1,000 career points club at Utah and technically 37 points of scoring 1,000 points in his collegiate career having scored 3 points during his short stint at Cincinnati. In addition, he'll be gunning for the No. 10 spot in the all-time steals list – which is currently being held by Jimmy Soto (1989-93; 122).
INTERNATIONAL FLAVOR
This year's Runnin' Utes roster boasts players from seven different countries, which is tied for the third-most this season in NCAA Division I and includes those hailing from the United States.
