Utes win all four matches of the weekend for the second time this season
SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Beach Volleyball locked down their longest win streak of the season with two more wins on the final day of their home classic weekend. The Utes started the day securing their fifth win in a row, taking down Texas A&M Kingsville for the second day in a row by way of a 4-1 decision. Utah moved on to defeat the Concordia in a back-and-forth battle, 3-2, chalking up their sixth win in row.

Utah nearly collected the five-court sweep over Texas A&M Kingsville for the second day in a row. The Utes secured two quick wins on the second and fourth courts. The first win came from the pairing of Kylie Pitzak and Marissa Koch, 21-11, 21-19. On the second court, Bella Vezzani and Rylee Johnson made quick work of their opponents from Kingsville, taking the decision, 21-10, 21-11. As the second wave of courts took their places to get their matches underway, the first duo to secure a win for Utah would be the first court consisting of Langley Griffin and Katie McAlister, picking up the 21-17, 21-12 win. The final Ute duo to tally a win was a new pairing playing on the fifth court, consisting of Azure McOmber and Milan Ray, taking the three-set decision, 21-11, 16-21, 17-15.

Playing in back-to-back matches to close out the day, Utah was in a fight to the finish against Concordia, trying to secure their sixth consecutive win. The Utes would secure their first win on the third court, coming from the pairing of Chloe Narancich and Lauren Sayre, 23-21, 21-12. Taking a two court advantage, Utah would capture their second win from the duo of Pitzak and Koch on the fourth court, 21-17, 21-17. Sealing the weekend sweep and the match for the Utes on the fifth court, picking up their second win of the day, McOmber and Ray won their three-set battle, 21-14, 17-21, 15-9.
