Utah, which has won four of the last five NCAA Championships and 17 overall national titles all-time, will look to defend its crown in March when this year's championship meet takes place in Bozeman, Montana.
The schedule is also highlighted by the Utah Invitational, with Nordic races taking place on Jan. 24-25 at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center and alpine competitions on Feb. 22 and 24. An additional qualifier race will take place on Feb. 23, with all three alpine dates going down from the Spencer F. Eccles Olympic Mountain Center at the Utah Olympic Park.
The Utes will kick off the season on Jan. 4 with the start of the RMISA Invitational, a Nordic-only meet that takes place within the U.S. National Championships in Lake Placid, New York. Over a five-day span teams will race in three collegiate competitions, with one serving as an individual qualifier for NCAA Championships purposes.
Alpine season begins with a busy stretch from Jan. 12-15 in Colorado. Teams will spend the first two days racing giant slalom at Eldora Mountain Resort before moving to Loveland Ski Area to complete in slalom for the final two dates. Those competitions will comprise the alpine portions of both the Denver Invitational and Colorado Invitational.
From there, the focus turns to the Beehive State as the Utes gear up to host the Nordic part of their home meet. A 7.5K freestyle individual start will take place at Soldier Hollow on Jan. 24, to be followed the next day by a 15K classic mass start.
Nevada will host four days of alpine races from Jan. 31-Feb. 2. Each will be in Reno, Nevada, at Mount Rose Ski Tahoe.
The next two weekends will see Nordic teams take center stage for the Denver Invitational (Feb. 7-8) at Maloit Park before traveling to Howelsen Hill for the Colorado Invitational (Feb. 13-14).
The Utah Invitational will wrap up with a giant slalom race on Feb. 22 and slalom on Feb. 24, plus an extra GS qualifier event on Feb. 23. It'll be a quick turnaround from there as teams caravan up to Bozeman, Montana, for the 2026 RMISA Championships. Alpine races will be held at Bridger Bowl and Nordic events at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center, all from Feb. 26-28.
The RMISA Championships will give teams an early preview of the national title meet two weeks later. The same venues will host the 2026 NCAA Championships, with alpine races set for March 11 (giant slalom) and March 13 (slalom). Nordic races are scheduled for March 12 (7.5K classic) and March 14 (20K freestyle).
