Men's Basketball Opens Acrisure Series at Home Against Purdue Fort Wayne Tuesday Night

The Runnin’ Utes welcome in the Mastodons of Purdue Fort Wayne on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. (MDT) on ESPN+.
SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team hosts Purdue Fort Wayne this upcoming Tuesday, Nov. 18, for a 7 p.m. (MDT) tip-off inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center as part of the Acrisure Series.
Krista Blunk will have the call in Tuesday night's action alongside former Runnin' Utes assistant coach Joe Cravens on ESPN+ as the Utes and Mastodons square off for just the third time in program history and the first time since 2015.
ACRISURE SERIES OPENER
Utah will kick off its MTE this Tuesday with a home game for the Acrisure Series against Purdue Fort Wayne (2-3, 0-0 Horizon). The Utes will then travel to Palm Desert next week to open action at Acrisure Arena against Grand Canyon on Tuesday, Nov. 25, starting at 10 p.m. (MDT) / 9 p.m. (PDT) on CBS Sports Network.

With :04 on the clock, Terrence Brown gave Utah some insurance points and picked up his 1,000th career point when he knocked his first of two free-throws and eighth of nine-straight in the second-half. The junior joins Don McHenry as the second Ute on the team to have recorded 1,000 career points.
Through games on Nov. 15, there are 39 Division I programs that have multiple 1,000 point scorers at their institutions – 29 of which hailed from Power 4 programs and seven hailing from the Big 12 Conference.

UP NEXT
Utah wraps up its six-game homestand to open the Alex Jensen Era and the 2025-26 campaign on Thursday, Nov. 20, against Cal Poly. Krista Blunk and Joe Cravens will once again have the call on ESPN+ as the Runnin' Utes and Mustangs battle it out in the return of Luka Tarlac inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center beginning at 7 p.m. (MDT).
LOOKING AHEAD
The Utes will get their first away from home as they begin a three-game stretch away from the friendly confines of the Jon M. Huntsman Center. Utah opens play at the Acrisure Series on Tuesday, Nov. 25, against Grand Canyon in Palm Desert, Calif., inside Acrisure Arena beginning at 10 p.m. (MDT) / 9 p.m. (PDT) local on CBS Sports Network. It'll then play either Iowa or Ole Miss depending on the outcome of its game on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at either 7:30 p.m. (MDT) or 10 p.m. (MDT) on CBS Sports Network.
