New flexible payment plans available for six-game 2025 home schedule at Rice-Eccles Stadium
SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Football program embarks on its second season in the Big 12 in 2025, and with the schedule released last week the renewal period for season tickets to catch all the home action has begun today. The Utes will play six games at Rice-Eccles Stadium, including five Big 12 contests.
Â
Multiple payment options are being offered this year, including a new six-month plan that allows for payments to be spread out until Sept. 15. The deadline to commit to renewal either with a first payment or payment in full is Tuesday, April 15. Those interested in pursuing new season ticket purchases may sign-up now to join the wait list here.
Current season ticket holders will begin to receive communication directly from the Utah Ticket Office with information that will guide them through the renewal process. Fans also can view season ticket information online, including pricing, payment plans and seating options here.
Head Coach Kyle Whittingham leads Utah in his 21st season at the helm, and his 32nd overall with the program. The Utes will host defending Big 12 champion Arizona State, as well as Colorado, Texas Tech, Cincinnati and Kansas State in Big 12 play, and welcome Cal Poly on Sept. 6 for the home opener. In the second year of the new College Football Playoff format, Utah fans also have the possibility of seeing a home CFP first-round game in Rice-Eccles Stadium for the first time.
Anticipation is building for the 2025 season, with fans returning to Rice-Eccles Stadium to cheer on the Utes and create one of the most impactful home-field advantages in college football. The Utes carry into 2025 a streak of 89 consecutive sellouts of Rice-Eccles Stadium, with victories in 33 of their last 39 games played in Salt Lake City—including undefeated home seasons in 2019, 2021 and 2022.
Led by Whittingham, the program's all-time wins leader, the Utes boast a recharged roster that features a strong mix of returning starters and an impressive array of incoming talent. Defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley leads a stout unit that ranked third in the Big 12 in 2024, including a No. 2 national ranking in first downs allowed and No. 3 in opponent third-down conversion percentage (27.4%), and offensive coordinator Jason Beck is in his first year with the Utes after leading a New Mexico offense that ranked fourth in FBS in yards per game (484.3).
Â
All five starters and several key reserves return on the offensive line, including All-America right tackle Spencer Fano and Freshman All-America left tackle Caleb Lomu, each of whom started every game in 2024. The offense was bolstered by numerous highly-sought after signees in the transfer portal—including quarterback Devon Dampier and running back Wayshawn Parker.
Â
Five starters return from the Utes' perennially stingy defense, including three of the four leading tacklers from 2024, as well as 2023 leading tackler Levani Damuni, who returns from an injury that kept him out all of last season. Top 2024 tackler Lander Barton enters his senior season at linebacker, and is joined by fellow returning starters Logan Fano (DE), Elijah Davis (CB), Smith Snowden (CB) and Tao Johnson (S), plus a host of key reserves who also gained starting experience in 2024.
Â
The home schedule begins with the Cal Poly game on Sept. 6, which sits between a season-opening clash at UCLA and a road game at Wyoming. The Big 12 slate begins at home against Texas Tech on Sept. 20, with the Red Raiders visiting Salt Lake City for the first time, and the two programs meeting for the first time since 1973. Big 12 champion Arizona State visits Rice-Eccles Stadium on Oct. 11. The Utes and Sun Devils clash for the fifth consecutive season, continuing a series in which Utah had won six of the previous eight matchups before ASU's 27-19 win in Tempe last October.
Â
Two weeks later, Utah hosts Colorado (Oct. 25), as the Utes and Buffaloes meet for the 15th consecutive season to continue a series in which the Utes have won 13 of the last 16 matchups. A second consecutive home game features Cincinnati visiting Rice-Eccles Stadium on Nov. 1 for the first meeting all-time between the two programs. The home finale on Nov. 22 features a matchup with Kansas State, as the Utes and Wildcats for the first time in the programs' history.
