OFF THE BLOCKS
The regular-season comes to an end this week as the Women of Utah compete at two different meets with
Bailey Kealamakia doing double-duty competing at the Robison Invitational before heading down to the Desert Heat Classic. This will be 1-of-2 meets for the Utes to run a regional mark – with the other being the conference meet.
Â
MARTIN STEPS IT UP
After training with Team Canada for a week down in Baton Rouge, La., last week, junior
Emily Martin raced out to a heat victory in the 200m dash behind a school-record breaking run of 23.20 and finished third-overall. Her time bested her previous mark by .44 of a second and dethroned former teammate
Josefine Eriksen of another school record. Martin now owns the 100m and 200m records at Utah.

QUALIFYING MARKS
Heading into the final weekend of the regular-season, here's a list of Utes that currently own a qualifying time for the NCAA West Regional (May 29 & 31) as of April 29, 2025.

Â
UP NEXT
The Women of Utah will compete in their first Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 15-17) in two weeks. The three-day meet will be hosted by Kansas at Rock Chalk Park and will be everyone's final opportunity to post a regional mark and qualify for the NCAA West Regionals – which is held in College State, Texas, this year on the campus of Texas A&M University.
