Utah moves to 17-9 on the season.

Utah had two matchups today in Tucson, Ariz. in the Wildcat Spring Challenge. This weekend competition hosts all four Big 12 beach volleyball programs, making this act as a mid-season conference tournament for the conferences inaugural season hosting the sport.

The first match came against the Arizona, where the Utes couldn't rebound from the loss they took to the Wildcats last time out. With the outing ending in a 4-1 defeat, it was Utah's No. 1 duo of Quincy Stephens and Katie McAlister who got the lone victory in the match, winning in straight sets by a score of 21-18 and 21-17.

Against the number one ranked country TCU, Utah was left answerless as they got swept 5-0.
