Utah Completes 2028 Nonconference Slate with Nevada

Utes to host Wolf Pack at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Sept. 9

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah football team completed its 2028 nonconference schedule on Wednesday with the addition of a Sept. 9 contest vs. Nevada at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The Utes' matchup with the Wolf Pack follows the previously announced season-opener in Salt Lake City vs. Utah Tech on Aug. 31 and precedes a Sept. 16 trip to Camp Randall Stadium for a game against Wisconsin.

Utah is 4-5-1 all-time against Nevada with the last meeting between the teams occurring 80 years ago, a 33-14 Wolf Pack win on Sept. 29, 1945.
