SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah women's tennis team is set to begin its 2026 season this Saturday, Jan. 18, against UC Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, Calif. The team's first home match of the season will be a doubleheader against Idaho State and Weber State at the George S. Eccles Tennis Center on Jan. 24. The Utes will host a total of 13 homes matches this season.
After the home opener, the Utes are set to play another doubleheader at home against Utah State and Montana on Jan. 30. The team will then travel to Manoa, Hawaii to face Hawaii on Feb. 6.
The Utes come back home Valentine's Day weekend to face Washington State (Feb. 14) and Denver (Feb. 15).
The team will finish off nonconference play facing Washington (Feb. 20) and San Diego (Feb. 21) in Seattle.
Big 12 conference play will begin on the road for the Utes as they travel to Houston, Texas to battle Houston (Feb. 26) and then to Orlando, Fla. to face UCF (Feb. 28). The Utes open home conference play against in-state rival BYU on Sat. March 7, at noon.
The team will take on Utah Tech in St. George, Utah on March 9 in a nonconference matchup and then come back home to face conference play against West Virginia (Mar. 12) and Cincinnati (Mar. 14).
The Utes will then head on the road to face Texas Tech (Mar. 19) and Colorado (Mar. 21). Following the road trip, the team will play home matches against Oklahoma State (Mar. 26) and Kansas State (Mar. 28) before heading back to the Lonestar State and taking on TCU (Apr. 2) and Baylor (Apr. 4).
The Utes will close out their regular season at home taking on Arizona (Apr. 9) and Arizona State (Apr. 11).
