Utah set to play seven home games at Rice-Eccles Stadium
SALT LAKE CITY — The 2026 Utah football schedule was unveiled on Wednesday as the Big 12 Conference announced the full slate of games for the upcoming fall. Utah will play seven home games, including three consecutive nonconference matchups at Rice-Eccles Stadium to open the campaign.
Morgan Scalley will make his Rice-Eccles debut leading the Utes on Thursday, Sept. 3 vs. Idaho, followed by battling SEC opponent Arkansas (Sept. 12) and Utah State (Sept. 19) in Salt Lake City.

The conference announced today select Saturday games may be adjusted to Fridays, other special dates, and Black Friday. These determinations will be made in the coming weeks.

Entering Big 12 play, Utah will start on the road at Iowa State to round out the month of September before its only bye week comes the first Saturday of October. Â

The Utes will host Kansas in the Big 12 home opener after the bye week, before traveling to Colorado, hosting Kansas and closing out October at Cincinnati.

November begins with BYU at Rice-Eccles Stadium, followed by consecutive road trips to Arizona and TCU. The Utes close out the regular season with West Virginia coming to Salt Lake City.

The 2026 Big 12 Football Championship Game is set for Friday, Dec. 4 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
