Wasatch Front helped the Utes total 545 yards of offense in win over Kansas
IRVING, Texas — Utah has been named Big 12 Offensive Line of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Â
Nicknamed the Wasatch Front, the group paved the way for the Utes to rack up 545 total yards of offense in Saturday's 41-24 win over Kansas. It was the second time this season that the team tallied more than 500 yards and third game that Utah eclipsed 450 yards. Pro Football Network graded the Utah offensive line at 86.6 for the week, placing ninth in FBS.
Â
Playing in front of a sold-out Rice-Eccles Stadium crowd, Utah recorded a season-high 31 first downs on the night and had both a 100-yard rusher and receiver for the first time this season.
Â
Individually, left tackle Zereoue Williams was graded an 86.5 for the week by Pro Football Network to lead all Big 12 players at the position and rank sixth in FBS.
Â
Utah has scored 30-plus points in all five games to start this season, accomplishing that feat for the first time since 1994.
