SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team continues Big 12 Conference play with a road game at No. 11/11 Kansas this Saturday, Feb. 7, inside Allen Fieldhouse.

Tim Brando will have the call on FOX while former UConn forward Donny Marshall serves as the analyst in just the fourth meeting between the Runnin' Utes and Jayhawks with Utah making its first trip to Allen Fieldhouse in program history.

Saturday's game between the Utes and Jayhawks will pit first-year head coach
Alex Jensen and longtime Kansas head coach Bill Self for the second time in their careers. The two first met on
March 5, 1999, when the Runnin' Utes battled a Tulsa team coached by Self in the semifinals of the WAC Tournament – a game that went in favor of the eighth-ranked Utes 64-61 in overtime.

Jensen finished with a game-high 20 points on 8-fo-13 shooting, 3 of which came from deep, to go with 4 rebounds, three steals and a block. The Centerville, Utah, product made it a two-possession game with 54 seconds left to play in OT on a pass from Andre Miller.

Raphael Chillious will now be on the other side of the bench when the Utes square off against the Jayhawks. Chillious previously coached KU guard Elmarko Jackson at South Kent School in his second stint at the boarding school.

Wednesday's game against Arizona State marked the second time this season Utah has had multiple players record double-digit rebounds in a single game. It is the 18th season since 1996-97 according to Stats Performance that Utah has had multiple players record double-digit rebounds in least two times in a single-season.

ROAD WOES
Utah is currently on a 13-game road skid dating back to Jan. 22, 2025, of last season. The Utes went 0-7 in true road games to end last season and have lost six-straight this season – which matches the 13-game losing streak in true road games that went from 2019-21. Dating back to 1996-97 per Stats Perform, the longest losing streak in true road games is 14 games that spanned from 2011-12.

The Big 12 gauntlet continues as Utah returns home to host No. 8/8 Houston the following week on Tuesday, Feb. 10, starting at 7 p.m. (MST) inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center. LOOKING AHEAD
Utah will embark on its lone road swing of the season after hosting Houston, starting with Cincinnati on Sunday, Feb. 15, inside Fifth Third Arena. Eric Rothman will be on the call alongside former Providence head coach Tim Welsh as Utah searches for its first win in Cincinnati (0-3) on either ESPN or ESPN2 starting at 10 a.m. (MST).

It'll then head directly to Morgantown, W.V., for the second time in as many years to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 6:30 p.m. (MST) on FS1 with Noah Reed calling the action alongside former NBA veteran LaPhonso Ellis.
