This Weekend's Fan Experience Rundown

Parking is free for all Utah Baseball home games. Fans may park in Lot 40, Lot 9 or Lot 1. Click here for a parking map. Please note that game parking is not permitted in the neighborhoods South of America First Ballpark or in the lot directly in front of the Salt Lake Sports Complex. Fans can also ride UTA free with a valid game ticket; both the No. 9 and 17 bus routes have stops directly outside America First Ballpark and the TRAX Red Line is close by as well.

As part of Family Night, Friday's game will feature a pregame Little League parade. Participating teams that have signed up will receive follow up instructions from the Utah Athletics Marketing team. Participating teams are encouraged to enter America First Ballpark through the right field gate on Guardsman Way and should be lined up for the parade by 5:30 p.m.
Little Leaguers who are not part of a parade-participating team can still get in free on Friday by wearing their jersey. Simply go to the America First Ballpark ticket office to claim a ticket; family members can receive a discounted ticket as well by going to the ticket office.
Postgame on Friday, the Utes will host a drone show. Fans in chairback seats for the game are encouraged to remain in their seats for the best view of the drone show. Fans seated on the berm will be asked to kindly relocate to the field following the game. Fans may enter the field through the gate in the right field corner or at the bottom of Sections 3 and 10. Lawn chairs may be left on the berm during the drone show and may be retrieved after the drone show concludes.
Accessible field access for Friday's drone show will be through the gate in the right field corner.
No food or drink will be permitted on the field during the drone show.
Prior to Saturday's game, the Utes will hold a Senior Day ceremony and recognize the team's 11-man Class of 2026. Be in your seats by 12:15 p.m. to help celebrate the group.

The First Pitch: Things to Know

The regular season comes to a close this weekend for the Utah baseball team as the Utes host Baylor for a three-game Big 12 Conference series from Thursday through Saturday on Charlie Monfort Field at America First Ballpark.
Plenty is on the line for both clubs this weekend in terms of Big 12 Tournament seedings. The Utes enter the series in 10th place in the league standings but can climb as high as eighth--pending the outcome of this series and others throughout the conference.
Utah is coming off a Tuesday victory over in-state foe Utah Tech that saw a breakout game for Davis County native Luke Jacobs. The Utes' leadoff man went 5-for-6 in the game, clubbing two doubles and finishing a triple short of the cycle. Jacobs had five RBIs and scored twice in the 16-9 victory.
As a team, the Utes belted out 21 hits against Utah Tech as eight players contributed multi-hit performances with three driving in at least three runs in Jacobs, Matt Flaharty (4) and Jake Long (3).
The Utes look to get back on track in league play after being on the receiving end of a sweep at TCU last weekend. All three games were well-pitched on both sides and saw Utah walk just three Horned Frogs batters all weekend, while the defense played error-free baseball. But runs came at a premium in the series and the Utes couldn't quite solve the TCU pitching staff.
The Utah defense has turned a Big 12-leading 47 double plays this season. It ranks 11th in the country and is just five away from entering the top-six in program history for a single season.
Utah won the opener in last year's series between these teams but dropped the middle and rubber contests in Waco. The Utes were victorious in the only other known meeting of these teams; it came during the 2011 season and was a 4-3 decision for Utah.
Utah is batting .307 as a team, ranking fourth in the Big 12 and 28th in the country. The home cookin' for the Utes has carried into the late innings of the season, as Utah is 15-6 at America First Ballpark while hitting .339 in the home confines.
