Utah at Washington Postgame Notes
Utah 94, Washington 72
Jan. 21, 2017
Alaska Airlines Arena | Seattle Wash.
• Utah moved to 12-9 all-time with the win over the Huskies. It is Utah's third straight win in the series and the second straight win at Alaska Airlines Arena. The Utes are now 4-6 all-time when facing UW in Seattle.
• Utah posted back-to-back road wins against both Washington schools for a second straight season. Last season's pair of victories through the Evergreen State was Utah's first-ever two-game sweep over the Washington schools.
• Utah scored 80 points or more for the fifth consecutive game. It is the first time a Utah squad has done that in the Larry Krystkowaik Era and the first time since the 1993-94 season.
• Utah's 94-point effort was the second-most against a Pac-12 school since joining the conference in 2011-12. The Utes scored 96 points in a home win against Stanford last season.
• The 94 points are the most scored in a Pac-12 road game. The previous mark was a 92-71 win at Washington State in 2015-16.
• Freshman Devon Daniels scored a career-high 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field, which included a 3-of-3 effort from the three-point line. His previous high was a 19-point effort at Xavier (12/10/16).
• Senior Lorenzo Bonam surpassed his previous career-high (21 points vs. UCR, 11/25/16), also posting 24 points in the win. He was 10-of-12 from the field, 2-of-2 from three-point range and a perfect 2-of-2 from the charity stripe.
• Junior Kyle Kuzma registered his fifth straight double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds. He has 11 double-doubles on the season.
• Utah had three players score 20+ points in the same game for the first time since the 2015-16 season-opener (Nov. 13, 2015) against Southern Utah. Utah's Jordan Loveridge (24 points), Kuzma (23) and Jakob Poeltl (26) all scored 20+ points in the contest.
