2022 – Redshirt Sophomore
- Started at catcher in his season debut at Loyola Marymount (Feb. 19).
- Singled and scored a run that night, before sustaining a season-ending injury later in the game.
2021 – Redshirt Freshman
- Played in 39 games, starting 32 mostly between DH and catcher.
- Hit .200 on the season with six doubles, two homers and 12 RBI, also drawing 21 walks.
- Four multi-hit games, also had multi-RBI efforts in the matchups with Dixie State (March 23) and UVU (April 20).
- Scored twice against Dixie State (April 6) and ASU (April 23).
2020 – Freshman
- Played in five games and started in four, splitting time between DH and catcher.
- Had four RBI through season, drew five walks … Hit .143 on the season.
- Hit a two-run home run in first career game against UC Davis (Feb. 16).
Prior to Utah
- Played scholastically at Northgate High School under head coach Kevin Stanley.
- Named First Team All-League as a catcher after his junior season.
- Also played in the Area Code Games.
- Played football in addition to baseball at Northgate.
Personal
- Son of Jim and Kristen Rudy.
- Has one sibling, Nash.
- Father was a two-sport standout in baseball and football at San Francisco State.
- Cousin, Sydney, also attended the U; uncle, Jeff Rudy, serves a football administrative capacity with the Utes.
- Enjoys video games and hiking in his spare time.
