Prior to Utah
- Spent the 2024 and 2025 collegiate seasons at Utah State Eastern, making 28 appearances (27 starts) and tallying a 15-6 record on the bump.
- Had a 1.09 WHIP during his second year, in which Salvesen was 8-2 in 14 starts with a 2.96 ERA and 118 strikeouts.
- Recorded 10-plus strikeouts in seven different outings during 2025.
- Tossed a five-inning perfect game at Colorado Northwestern in 2025, earning SWAC Pitcher of the Week.
Prior to College
- Prepped at Fremont High School, just a short drive North of Salt Lake City.
- Coached by Garrett Clark during his time with the Silverwolves.
- Named Region 1 MVP and won two regional championships with Fremont.
- Earned first-team all-region, all-area and all-state.
- Went 9-0 his senior year with a 1.54 ERA and 74 strikeouts in 54.2 innings.
Personal
- Parents are Curtis and Jen Salvesen.
- Has three siblings, Beckett, Emma and Lyla.
- Enjoys music, time with friends and a variety of outdoor activities.
