Former NFL quarterback Ryan Lindley is in his first year as offensive analyst at Utah.
Lindley spent the last two years coaching with the NFL’s Cleveland Browns, overseeing the running backs (2018) and quarterbacks (2019). He also spent time as a defensive graduate assistant at San Diego State in 2018. Lindley previously did private coaching, specializing in preparing players for NFL draft workouts.
Lindley was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played in nine games with six starts for the Cardinals from 2012-14 and also spent time with the San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts during his career. Lindley finished his playing career in the CFL with Ottawa from 2017-18.
Lindley was a four-year starter at San Diego State from 2008-11, setting numerous school records and earning second-team all-MW honors in 2010. He earned his degree in social science from SDSU.
Lindley is from Alpine, Calif., and married to the former Lindsay Rowe, who ran track at UCLA.
