- As back-up quarterback his sophomore season, caught 40 passes for 577 yards (14.4 ypc) and six touchdowns, also rushing for 352 yards (9.5 ypc) and two touchdowns.
- Invited to the Elite 11 finals.
- Also competed in track and field, winning a central section championship in the 100 meter dash.
