Utah Softball Goes 4-0 Over Weekend

Tallahassee, Fla. - On Fri.-Sun., Mar. 16-18, the University of Utah softball team clinched the No. 1 seed in the Florida State Tournament, before it was rained out on the last day of competition. The Utes were a perfect 4-0 in the tournament and defeated Florida A&M 11-0, Georgia State 2-0, UCONN 4-2 and Bethune Cookman 10-0. Utah is now 18-13 overall and on a four-game win streak.
UP NEXT: On Mar. 23 and 24, the Utes will take on the nationally prominent Arizona Wildcats in a non-conference match-up in Tucson, Ariz. Both games are set for 7:00 p.m. Utah will host in-state rival Utah State on Mar. 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Ute Field. On Fri., Mar. 30, the Utes open MWC play at New Mexico at 1:00 p.m.
