THIS WEEK: The Utes compete against Washington, Kansas and Washington State this weekend. The Washington match will be held on Mar. 1 at 11:00 a.m. The Kansas bout will begin Mar. 2 at noon and the Washington State match up will be held Mar. 3 at 11:00 a.m. All of these matches will be held in the Eccles Tennis Center.
THE UTES: After finishing their extended road trip, the Utes increased their over all record to an impressive 5-2. Last week the Utes defeated St. Mary's, 6-1. In the number one spot, senior Linn Ronnberg defeated Annie Wolford, 3-6, 6-3, 4-6. Sheri Esrock was victorious over Megan Schulman, 6-2, 6-1 and Freshman Ellen Svensson ousted Nicole Nanstock, 6-3, 6-1.
COMING UP: The women netters face off against Idaho State next week. This match will be played Mar. 8, at 2:00 p.m. The Idaho State match will also be held at the Eccles Tennis Center.
