SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - This Week: The University of Utah women's tennis team, with a 3-4 record on the season, will play host to Weber State on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the Eccles Tennis Center. The match will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Utes To Watch: Junior Sheri Esrock should return to competition this week after three matches due to an ankle sprain. Head Coach Megan Dorny commented that the team has missed Sheri's competitive presence during her injury absence.
Last Action: The Utes edged out Idaho State University in a 4-3 win last Wednesday, Feb. 19, at home in the Eccles Tennis Center. Assistant Coach Ruth Ann Escobedo said of last week's win that the team "played with more confidence and got the job done. Ellen (Svensson), Maria (Svensson), and Allison (Hansen) played extremely well and convincingly won."
Quoting Head Coach Megan Dorny: "Our doubles play is contstantly improving, and we are looking to improvement in the matches on Wednesday."
