SAN DIEGO--The Mountain West Conference released its all-conference softball team on Wednesday night. Among those honored, were Utes Niki Hayhurst, Glennis Donnelly and Lynsey Wall.
Hayhurst, a Keizer, Ore., native, hit .409 during league play. She blasted four homers and doubles to go with a team-high .773 slugging percentage and .559 on base percentage. This is the fourth all-conference honor of her career.
Donnelly, a junior, notched a .400 batting average during league games, while boasting a .745 slugging percentage. She had four home runs and a team-high seven doubles. The St. Louis, Mo., native was voted MWC Player of the Week just last week.
In her debut season, Wall knocked in a team-high 18 runs during conference play. The Farmington, Utah, native compiled a .264 batting average with four homers and two doubles. She was voted MWC Player of the Week twice this year.
"It's really exciting to be here for the tournament," said Hayhurst. "It's an honor to be recognized."
