LAWRENCE, Kan.--The Utah softball fell to 6-10 on the year after being shutout by No. 17/18 Nebraska at the Hampton Inn/Jayhawk Classic on Sunday morning. Utah now faces Kansas to conclude the tourney.
Utah's offense continued to struggle as Nebraska's Summer Tobias tossed a no hitter en route to her second win of the season (2-4). The Huskers helped Tobias out by making some impressive defensive plays.
Freshman Samantha Schroeder is credited with the loss. Schroeder falls to .500 on the season with a 2-2 record.
