- Utah had its highest scoring first half of the season with 31 points. Utah State equaled the highest scoring first half by a Ute opponent with 28.
- Utah has won 20 consecutive home games for the sixth-longest winning streak in the nation. The Utes have also won 36 consecutive nonconference home games in the Huntsman Center, last falling to Utah State on Nov. 23, 2001.
- Bryant Markson has scored in double figures in all four games this season and in 10 of the last 11 games dating back to last season. Markson has 30 career double-figure scoring games.
- Johnnie Bryant had his third double-figure scoring game this season.
- Chris Jackson tied his career high with 10 points. His previous career-best was 10 points versus Savannah State (12/13/03).
- Lawrence Borha had a career-high 8 points.
- Utah shot a season-high 57.8 percent from the field. It was the Utes' first game of at least 50 percent shooting this season. The Utes shot 50 percent or better in 17 games last season, going 16-1.
- The Utes allowed Utah State to shoot 52.1 percent from the field, which is the best by a Ute opponent this season.
- Utah outrebounded Utah State 27-19 for its largest rebound margin of the season.
