SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah softball team didn't even get a chance to leave town before snow cancelled its Mountain West Conference doubleheader with Colorado State in Fort Collins this weekend.

The twinbill, set for Friday, would have been the second meeting between the two rivals this season.

The weekend is not a complete wash as the Utes (17-24, 5-9 MWC) still have a doubleheader planned with New Mexico in Albuquerque for Sunday. First pitch is set for noon.
