Utah Women's Tennis Set For First Spring Action

SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team will kick off the spring season January 17-19 with a showing at the Virginia Invitational in Charlottesville, Va.
"This is going to be a great test for our team with North Carolina, Arkansas, and Virginia competing in this event," said head coach Mat Iandolo. "It is also a great way to get us ready for home court matches against Washington State (No. 44) and Washington (No. 38) next weekend."
Utah is ranked 50th in this season's first Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll which was released January 6th.
The Virginia Invitational will mark Utah's first action since the ASU Thunderbird Invitational in Tempe, Ariz., November 7-9.
