After going through an undefeated regular season and winning the regional championship, the University of Utah ski team will bid for its 12th national title in school history at the 2012 NCAA Championships in Bozeman, Mont., Mar. 7-10.Utah has won all five meets it has raced in this season, including a first-place showing at the NCAA West Region/Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Skiing Association Championships last weekend in Bozeman. The Utes' last national championship came in 2003.

Ute Notes
Women's Alpine: Senior Tii-Maria Romar is the top giant slalom seed and ranks fourth in the slalom. Romar was named the RMISA Women's Nordic MVP and was a First-Team All-RMISA. She won the slalom last weekend at the NCAA West Region/RMISA Championships.
Men's Alpine: Senior Nick Cohee is the No. 1 men's Alpine seed as well as the top giant slalom qualifier. He appeared on the podium five times this year and finished as the runner-up in the slalom at the regional.
Women's Nordic: Senior Maria Graefnings earned the top seed in the freestyle race and is the second qualifier in the Nordic event. Graefnings earned the title in both the 5k freestyle and 15k classical races at the RMISA Championships.
Men's Nordic: Junior Miles Havlick enters the freestyle race rated No. 2 and was third in the classic race. Havlick earned the RMISA Men's Nordic MVP award as he finished on the podium in nine of 10 races this season.
