Utah Women's Tennis Cracks Top 35 in ITA Rankings

SALT LAKE CITY- The University of Utah women's tennis team (6-3) moved up six spots to No. 33 in the most recent Campbell's/ITA College Tennis Rankings, released Wednesday, Feb. 29. This is the Utes highest midseason ranking since 1991, when they held a national ranking of No. 20.
Utah notched back-to-back upsets this past weekend in Las Vegas, Nev., defeating 36th-ranked UNLV 4-3, before besting 32nd-ranked Texas Tech 4-3. The Utes started off the year with a preseason ranking of 49.
Utah faces Boise State (5-3) Saturday, March 3, at noon MT in Boise, Idaho.
