Twelve members of the Ute ski team were selected to the University of Utah Dean's List, while a total of 19 student-athletes were named the Utah Athletics Honor Roll. The women's ski team posted a combined 3.683 GPA during the 2011-12 academic year, which was the highest mark within the entire athletic department.
To earn a spot on the Dean's List, a student must earn at least a 3.50 GPA in at least 12 graded credits during the Spring 2012 semester. Inclusion on the Utah Athletics Academic Honor Roll is bestowed upon those with at least a 3.00 GPA.
Jeremy Elliott, Torjus Krogdahl, Tom Smith, and Rose Kemp all earned 4.0 GPAs last semester.
