Utah falls to 6-3 and 3-3 in the Pac-12. The Utes are 2-2 against ranked teams this year.
Utah had 440 yards of total offense, its most against a Pac-12 team this season.
With 65 yards on 18 carries, Devontae Booker became the 12th Utah player to rush for 1,000 yards in a season. He has 1,055 rushing yards this year. Booker's streak of 100-yard rushing games was snapped at five. He scored his second receiving touchdown of the year on a 27-yard catch in the third quarter. Booker had eight catches for a career-high 110 yards.
Travis Wilson went 18-for-28 for a season-high 297 yards passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions. It was his second 200-yard passing game of the year and his ninth career 200-yard game. Wilson threw his first interception of the season, going 181 attempts this year before a pick (the longest to start the year in the FBS this season). He moved into sixth-most all-time with his 34th career touchdown pass, passing Jordan Wynn (33, 2009-12). Wilson also moved into ninth all-time at Utah in career passing yards (4,520).
Kaelin Clay had career highs in receiving yards (five for 152 yards) and kick return yards (seven for 179 yards). It was his first career 100-yard receiving game. Clay's 179 yards in kick returns is the fifth-most all-time in a game at Utah. He had a game-high 331 all-purpose yards.
With Devontae Booker and Kaelin Clay both reaching 100 receiving yards, it was the first time since Washington State in 2013 that Utah had two 100-yard receivers in a game (Dres Anderson/Jake Murphy).
Bubba Poole scored his second touchdown of the season on an 8-yard rush for his third career rushing touchdown. He had three rushes for 13 yards in the game.
Westlee Tonga scored his second touchdown of the season on a 13-yard reception. It was his third career touchdown. It was Tonga's only catch of the game.
Andy Phillips went 2-for-3 in field goals with makes of 32 and 28 yards and a miss of 48 yards. He is 19-for-22 (86.4%) in field goals this year, and drops to 11-of-14 in field goals of 40+ yards.
Nate Orchard had one sack, upping his season total to 13. He moved into a tie for third all-time for sacks in a season with John Frank (1999). The school record is 15 sacks. Orchard had eight tackles in the game along with his sixth career forced fumble in the third quarter (tied for fourth all-time at Utah).
Jared Norris led Utah with 11 tackles, the fourth time this season (sixth career) that he has been in double-digit tackles.
Brian Blechen had his second career fumble recovery in the third quarter. He also had seven tackles.
Attendance is 47,528, the second-largest crowd in Utah history and Utah's 30th straight sellout, extending back to the 2010 season-opener against Pittsburgh.
